Lymphatic Drainage pregnancy massage is perfect for getting rid of the bloating associated with early motherhood. It aims to flush away excess fluids (including those received via IV during labour or delivery) and rebalance hormones, getting the body into a healing mode and reducing downtime post-pregnancy. Prenatal Massage
Appropriate for every trimester, massage can help make pregnancy more comfortable. Prenatal massage is used to reduce stress, reduce swelling in the arms and legs and relieve muscle and joint pain. I use a pregnancy table that has removable belly and breast pad so clients can lie face down.

Induciton Massage (39+ weeks)
This prenatal massage is intended to naturally encourage labor along. Specific acupressure points will be used to both stimulate milk production and contractions, however magic will really come from the relaxation aspect. The hormone oxytocin is released in massage, the hormone responsible for uterine contractions.

Postpartum Massage
Moms can gain support mentally, emotionally, and physically from this treatment. Clients can simply having a moment to relax, or receive more specific work such as easing the pain from nursing and carrying baby, and promoting healthy lactation through breast massage. Abdominal massage can support the tissues as they heal, and mothers past 12 weeks postpartum can receive support through scar tissue work on cesarean scars.
